Clip to ScrapBook
When I subbed I always carried copies (and made more at the schools) of geometric coloring sheets (Dover publications?). They are good for patterning skills even though the kids think they are just coloring and they are great time fillers for the early finishers when they are working on assignments. Finding a read aloud in the classroom works, too. good luck, I always found the teachers I subbed for had plans all set. Make friends with the librarians in your regular schools, they can help with emergencies and find you books or videos that supplement the lessons.
