One on my hall.

We had one on my hall a few years ago. A teacher caught her. She had just checked the bathroom when she went in. Kid didn't know this. When the kid came out, the teacher checked the bathroom again. There it was. Our
administration was afraid of mom and dad and did nothing. Just told the kid to stop. ????? We had had this going on for months and could not figure out who it was. We had been to administration about it. They put it back on the teachers (us) to solve the problem and pretty much blamed US for not having closer supervision in the bathrooms. Then when we did supervise very closely and

caught the perp they wouldn't do anything about it.

I created the job of "potty police" in my classroom. Before my class goes in I have a boy check the boy's room and a girl check the girl's room. That way, at least we'll know what was there before we went in and which messes are our fault. Our janitors are awful about chewing out everyone when a mess is made. They come busting in and disturb class to fuss at EVERYONE on the hall. I'm tired of my kids getting fussed at. I HAVE ALWAYS supervised my classes in the restrooms. The lady across the hall from me NEVER goes out with her kids when she sends them to the restroom. Then she expects the teacher who discovers the problems her students are creating to "work it out" and even decide on a punishment. BUT I digress..........

While I am spewing....... our bathrooms are nasty. Thanks, I feel better.
