subbing and getting job
By Sharon

Clip to ScrapBook
Down here in florida, the school board puts out an instructional vacancy for the various different schools. If that is the case where you live, simply walk into the school and ask the secretary in the front office for the vacancy list. While you can't leave with it, write down the pertinant information such as principal's name, address, grade level etc. Then you simply send your resume and a copy of your transcripts.

Also, down here what the school board does with full time applicants is offer them a sub position in the meantime. Because you already have your bachelors degree, you are qualified to become an intern sub. Those are the long term assignments for twenty days or more. They often lead to full time positions.
