:mad:I am scared out of my head that students are going to do poorly on the state tests ~ even though we have done all that I could think of to make progress. :cool:Based on what I'm seeing here, I think that I should have pushed the independent reading instead. Also, I'm reading Regie Routman's Reading Essentials and (so far) she seems to support this emphasis too. (It's a good book ~ check it out!). :rolleyes:I guess you learn as you go ~ I just wish I hadn't gone so far before learning! :)Thanks for the help! pg (I don't have that quote thing down either!)
