Hi everyone. These are great links with a lot of fabulous ideas. I thought I'd just post how I use technology. I use it a lot for powerpoint presentation to deliver new instruction -- adding visuals and sounds. It's also
a great way to review content during a unit. At the end a unit, it is fun to create a game (like Jeopardy, Are you smarter than a 5th grader, wheel of fortune-for phonics, etc.). I feel pretty comfortable with MY use of technology, but not my stedents'.
As far as they are concerned, we go to the lab once a week for 30 minutes. Since we don't have a tech person, and I am limited, I have

been intimidated to have them do anything else on the computer. Now, after having these new links... I feel more confident and able to have them do something more fun and interesting.

I thank you for your help. I will keep checking back for more great ideas.
