ESL Supplemental Certification By AMDucky

In the state of TEXAS, once you pass 1 of the excets/texes, you may take any other exam. If you pass that exam, then you are Certified to teach that subject, no additional formal training is required! I just got a job teaching in Katy (KISD). In the contract, it states that if you teach a core subject, I'm teaching English, you have 2 years to pick up the ESL Supplemental Certification. If I pass the test, the district will reimburse me. I've found this site has awesome Study guides, they send it via email, and they guarantee you to pass! I used it to pass my ELAR 8-12! It gives a lot of | | detail and explains what the correct answer is and why. I'm planning to use this website again for the ESL Supplemental Certificate! http://txteachingsolutions.stores.yahoo.net/csienasselae2.html Also, contact REGION 4 http://www.esc4.net/default.aspx?name=pi.contact, ask them which Universities offer Texes training classes. I know there are several, and if you are not a student then you have to pay a fee, like $150-200!
