at the end of the year, but not throughout the year. The kids really did love it (I teach sixth). They were interviewing office staff, lunch ladies.....They wrote gossip columns (which I checked first so no one would be hurt), they designed fashion, they wrote sports columns. It was awesome.

It was also expensive. The cost of the paper was much too prohibitive for my district, so I've not been able to do this again (districts with low scores want you to do things with the kids to raise scores--educate these children!--but change their tune when it costs money).

So I can't do it anymore, but it was lots of fun and good for the kids. I hope you and your kids enjoy it.
