Okay I am just going to paste the message I posted in another room.....
Hi,
Okay, so I have been reading the many things posted in this room and I think this program seems fabulous!!! I am a brand spankin new| teacher. I just graduated from college and will be teaching first grade. I will be teaching in a low socioeconomic school. My question is.... Is anyone else implementing this program in a low socioeconomic school and feels that the students have made serious progress? Also, I have yet to form my procedures and have ordered "The First Six Weeks", and "The Morning Meeting Book". Will these | |
books help me in forming my procedures or is there another book I need to purchase? Honestly, those were quite expensive so I am hoping that will be what I need. Anything you can add is greatly appreciated. I am quite overwhelmed, but would really like to implement this in my classroom. Yay, I have a classroom!!!! Sorry, it's been a long road.
