It's hard to believe...

that the police didn't see this as a case of emotional abuse. As the mother of an autistic child, I was furious when I read this article. I think that teacher should be fired, and should have to face civil charges under the Americans with Disabilities Act. The classroom is not a reality show. She's dealing with the life of a child. She has probably caused irreparable damage to his self esteem.
