Last year I did a lot of guided reading book buying on Ebay. I bought a LOT of books (well over 600 total), but feel it will be a life long investment. After I totaled my expenses for 2007, I found I had spent about $2300...this also includes name tags, birthday stuff, Christmas gifts, mother's day projects, and all that extra "fun" stuff for the beginning of the year. I will be TOTALLY parring down for this coming year. :-)
I am sure on average I will spend between $500 - $800 each year. Remember that it is tax deductible, just keep your receipts!!
