Every principal has their own way of doing things. We had one who didn't want us to come to her with questions or requests. She had a form: "From your lips to my ears." Our current principal prefers us to speak to him or send an e-mail. Some principals do not want to help with classroom discipline. They see it as the teacher's problem. Others see that the child has a problem and needs help or to be away from the group. So find out how your principal wants things done.
