I just recently bought some window paint markers and I paint our ten new words for the week on the window. The kids love it! They keep personal dictionaries at their desks. The dictionaries come with words (Dolch maybe -- I never checked for sure :o) and the students use a highlighter marker to mark the week's new words, or write them in if they are not there.
I just wash the window and use a different color the next week.
