This happened to me

my first year teaching. I cried for a couple of weeks!:o I had severe classroom issues leading up to it and got no support from my team or the admin. I pulled myself together, (actually switched schools) and my class has been the in the top 3 since then. This year I finally made #1! I threw out what didn't work for me or my class, got great support from my team (I went to the ones who always had great scores and said "What are you doing differently?"), and I have taught my little heart out.
Don't let this sour you on your career. The first year is always a learning experience. Pull yourself up, and know that you can and will be better prepared next year!:D
