Differences in sight word lists

The lists have a lot of overlap. I think the main difference is that Dolch and Fry are not the same people (Insighful, huh? :) ) and therefore their test results are not going to be identical. Dolch developed his in the 40s and Fry in the 60s and it sems logical that they didn't analyze exactly the same literature. I believe Dolch's list was based on a mathmatical by hand calculation while Fry had an assist from computers. I don't think it makes a big difference which one you rely on, but I could be wrong.
