Pen Pal Letter

Once we had pen pals from CO, and we planned a pretend visit: their pen pal would come visit and the student and his family would show them around the state. We had to plan the trip (leaving from home) and plan where we would take them each day for about 10 days. We traced the route on a state map, calculating the mileage each day, etc. In the process, we learned a lot about our own state.
