flip flop message
By yoda

Clip to ScrapBook
I like happycat's suggestion. I thought I would still share what I do with my class (4th grade). Instead of having them write letters, I have my kids make flip-flops using feet outline patterns. On one flip-flop they write a favorite memory of 4th grade. On the other one, they write advice for the incoming 4th graders. Now, as you said, you may or may not have all of the same kids, so it might work.

I laminate the flip-flops and put up a bulletin board at the end of the year entitled "A flip-flop farewell" and beginning of the year "A flip-flop welcome". This school year my title was "clues to 4th grade from the survivors". My theme last year was survivor, and the theme this year is "clue/detective".
