My thoughts
By rhubarb

Clip to ScrapBook
If they eliminated 28 people then you should indeed feel honored. Sure you have a shot. I am a teacher with that amount of experience but I sure do not think of myself as a master teacher. Spin it around...the interviewer
telling one of the master teachers, "Yes, you did a fine job on that demon lesson. I am interviewing an amazing list of teachers..Master teachers and some very talented beginning teachers."
I wouold think the masters would be just as worried as you...Think positive about this. It is normal to feel small when you are comparing yourself to what you think is greatness. You are on that
list. The odds of getting the job are one in seven... If this is a new district for you and you don't get the job, be rest assured that your name will be spread around as principals talk about talent and lack of talent and they tend to hire someone they hear good things about. But be equally prepared to hear that you have the job. Either way, be very proud of yourself. Someone will snap you up very quickly and remember that when you go to an interview that you are not just selling yourself, you are also looking to "buy" their stuff.
