Go for it! After working in the corporate world for ten years, leaving to raise my family I decided to return to teaching. Finding out my certifications had expired, I have been updated them (NY testing yuck) and even enrolled in Grad School via the internet. Its challenging but rewarding. Keep at it and believe me you'll be glad you did.
