I have attended several Kagan Workshops. I really love them. I was able to get a lot of great ideas and things that I can really use with any grade level. Cooperative learning workshop will teach you how to build a cooperative
classroom and cooperative groups.

One of the things that I love about them is the use of music. I am a person who loves music and I use it in my classroom a lot. I signal the kids with it and play it when they come in and during the day. Laurie Kagan uses music a lot. It is really great for cooperative learning. My kids love the "give one get one" where they share

their ideas. But I think the students all time best thing is .....the "Silly Sports & Goofy Games" where they have "brain breaks".

I have even been able to spend an entire day at a Kagan Model School in my area. Now that was great to see it actually being done in the classroom and in all areas including things like music class.

I think that you will have a lot of fun at the workshop.
