Giving Preschoolers Jobs in Classroom

I have accepted a job to teach 3 an4 year old preschool. I have never taught this age before as most of my experience is in K-4. What are your thoughts about having a job chart for preschool? I know some teachers like it and others don't. Also what other jobs can you give them besides line leader, lights, snack helper. Thanks for your help.
