Job blues
By L.P.

Clip to ScrapBook
Tami, don't give up. Keep trying for that classroom if that's what you want. I've heard that sometimes school districts want to keep good subs. This may be true in your case. Are there other districts within driving distance that you might apply at? Spread your resume around and don't limit yourself to one district. And don't let them bury your application at the district your in. Call every so often. If it's the principal's decision as to who gets the job, you might make yourself known them when you sub in their schools. Let them know you are interested in the positions. It couldn't hurt. Good luck in the hunt! :o)
