Field Day
By lenarmc

Clip to ScrapBook
We just had field day yesterday.
1. Hop-a-long=Hop with a ball between your legs to a certain spot and back again
2. Sac Race-jump inside of a sack from a particular spot and back again (feed store sells them for about $2)
3. Spoon and ball-put a small ball on a spoon and walk with it withou dropping it; one hand behind the back
4. Sock Throw-put a bean bag inside a sock and tie it up; whoever throws it the furthest-wins
5. Relay race
6. Tug-of-War (only grades 2-5 did it)-we had to borrow a rope from another school
These were games for grades K-2. I just thought that you may have liked to see and maybe adapt. Instead of a sock throw maybe you can do a softball throw. All of the grades did a relay race and sack race.
