egg day that might not be good for your grade but a 6th grade friend does an egg toss where you stand inches away and toss the egg and then move a step back. She boils some and leaves others raw. I've never had the courage
to do this though. For science you could do the spinning test to see which is hard boiled and then talk about why it spins. You could do eggstra special poems or thoughts for each other or why this was an eggstra special year.

Play day I think maybe giving the kids short plays is a good idea. Another things to do would maybe give them fables and have them turn them into plays

because they are so short and most have animal characters that could easily be made with construction paper. Oh instead of doing the play with people maybe do puppets and that would make settings and characters easier to make.

That's it for now, but what a good idea to make next week's days themed! I may have to "steal" that idea!
