Middle School, too

Despite being told by some colleagues that my 6th graders wouldn't notice or care, I have a frog theme. I tell them at the beginning of the year that the frog stands for Fully Reach Our Goal. Then I remind them frequently during the year. I have lots of frogs in my window sill that students can hold if they're so inclined. I pick them up whenever I find one cheap. The kids like seeing the new additions. There is one that I keep on my overhead. Periodically, it will fall off in the middle of a session, and that gives us all a laugh. LOL I also have all of my school supplies - baskets - tubs - in my college school colors, so the kids notice that right away. I would paint if that were allowed!
