I had to move 2 years ago and it was into a new building that wasn't ready until 3 days before school started. Anyway, I packed everything into boxes and threw tons of stuff away before school ended and labeled| every box very specifically. I also made a box for stuff I HAD to have to set up my room (scissors, stapler, back to school files and books) so if all else failed, I'd have stuff to copy! I also mapped out the room and determined where the furniture would be and tried to plan what would be stored where. Then, when it was time to move I tried to place boxes in areas of the room where | |
they would be unpacked. Easier said than done, but with help from coworkers and family we were able to make the room presentable for back to school. I reorganized lots of stuff throughout the year, though. It was actually good to move and clean out the cabinets and drawers.
