In my district, if the principal wants you to stay in a position, that's that. Seniority has nothing to do with it. Especially if you're in a position that isn't very desired. I teach ESE Inclusion at my school and have asked for a regular classroom again, or at least an ESE classroom for myself so I don't have to go to other classrooms all day. I've been refused. I won't be teaching there next year.
