I Wish

I wish the third grade teachers could get together and place students according to what they have learned by working with the students during the year for the fourth grade. I have a lot more respect for my fellow teachers than administration.
When I read that you actually have a say in who is in your room it seems strange to me. I can not ask that a student be moved or ask for a particular student. I don't think I would want to be able to do that. Imagine how that could make a student feel? I depend on my third grade friends to help with ideas for my homeroom students. they would be a little more candid with me and just tell me that Stephanie's Mother is a *itch. That would help in preparing for those first conferences! LOLLOL
Anyway, now the reading coach chooses our students for us.
