can't take it anymore
By Sharon

Clip to ScrapBook
the atrocities I have endured at this school just don't seem to be worth it anymore. 90% of my calls are for this school. It really stinks. I had a meeting with the principal there a few weeks ago about other problems
and it seemed productive. I get along great with the majority of the teachers, staff, security guards, even the cafeteria staff! However, the kids behavior is so outrageous, it looks like the scene from Jurassic Park when the dinosaurs went out of control. those eighth grade goons that stand over six feet tall will eat you alive.

I sought the advice of an administrator I know from another

school. He told me to tell the principal that I no longer want to sub there and why. Tell him that maybe in the middle of next year, I will try it again. That gives him more than ample time to correct the problem and put new policies in place.

I have taken time and care to carefully document the problem. Now I have to get it to the principal. Truthfully, though, I am so outraged that I don't want to step foot on campus for a meeting, much less teach. Life is too short. I can just as easily say "Welcome to Walmart."
