I work in a very rough, over crowded middle school located right smack dab in the middle of crack town, USA. Question. When you have organized screamers (the kids), kids throwing chairs across the room, kids knocking desks over, and flinging rubber bands, what are you supposed to do? How else are they going to hear anything? Forget teaching; in this environment you just have to keep the kids from killing each other. I have a very loud whistle, but I'm not allowed to use it.Sharon
