Credit Cards-Rick Morris
By TeacherTarah

Clip to ScrapBook
Basically, he gives each student a large index card where they write their name. They have to keep it. They earn credits, which is merely a star stamp, for certain things. The kids cannot ask for credits and they cannot lose focus when he is walking by with the stamp. Then, he sets a date for a lunch with the teacher. He has a cute little pass in his book. The kids bring their lunches and he provides drinks and desserts. Sometimes he does it once a month, sometimes less, sometimes more. It creates a positive rapport with students and gives them responsibility. I love it. It is in his 8 Great Ideas book. www.newmanagement.com
