grade partners

I teach third and my principal uses my grade partner and I as examples to new staff on how to be a family. We are NOT the same age and our styles are OPPOSITE to some extent. This was hard at first but I think we finally realized that our strengths are our differences and we end up at the same result....We openly share things with each of us offering up our best ideas. I feel free to use these ideas as she does mine. So I guess my best tip is to communicate and share.
