What I would say....
By PrivateEyes

Clip to ScrapBook
If you want to be a teacher, here's what you say to Ms. Negativity.

As a person who has struggled in math, I have some insights into how to reach the struggling student. Teachers who have never struggled with math personally are often stymied by the misunderstandings and misperceptions of slow learners and don't know how to reach them. I think I have valuable insight to contribute.

I also have something to share with my class about perseverence and determination, as I believe I have demonstrated both in my pursuit of a teacher's credential.
