The end of the year is nuts!

I teach full-time now as a fifth grade teacher. You have my sympathy for trying to teach this time of year. I can never quite figure out why kids get so obnoxious this time of year. It's like the wild animals trying to burst out of a cage. I really do believe that if we can stand it, so can they. They've waited this long; they can wait a little longer. Don't hesitate to show a movie, if that helps. Don't drive yourself crazy trying to teach them. Do fun stuff--stuff that doesn't involve your active teaching. Stuff that keeps them busy, but out of trouble.
