I use it and love it. It makes curriculum planning across grade levels easier because the scope and sequence is mapped out very nicely. I have required topics I cover but within those topics, I can pick and chose my lessons
and activities - it leaves lots of room for creative ideas - but with guidelines to keep everyone "on the same page." Another thing I like is that the information builds on itself. For example, I teach about plants in kindergarten. Then plants is revisited in 2nd grade with more indepth info covered. Rather than, let's say I do a unit on frogs in kdg, the first grade teacher does
a unit on frogs (maybe even some of the same lesson plans), and then the second grade teacher does frogs. The poor child that has learned about frogs for three yrs in a row may now be an expert but he/she has missed out on other worthy units of study.

I also like the attention to classical literature and the exposure the children get.
