more common issue?

Ignores many behavior issues that teachers would normally correct very quickly. She just allows some things to go on and on.

Don't hate me here... you know I feel your pain about this lady... but this is one of
the areas I struggle with, even after four years of teaching. I'm continuing to learn a lot about how to observe the whole class at once, and I'm a lot better than I was during student teaching. I guess I'm saying that this may be an area that is tough for anyone who is new to teaching, and there is not a college class in the world that can truly prepare you for this.

Maybe you could
make a more mild comment about this, and save the majority of your space for those issues that should have been dealt with in class - following through on clear objectives, taking initiative (a good way to work in the lateness thing), appropriate activities, etc.
