My CT didn't think I was all that great, but I've been teaching for six years now and I just scored all Advanced on my evaluation. I have been very successful in this career. What I now realize is that I was trained very differently from my CT. As well, her school was all programs (for reading and writing) and I just don't do programs well. I don't NEED programs, and using a program for something I can do way better on my own just was very hard. I was educated to teach without canned programs (and I still NEVER use them and would never teach at a school that required any).

Actually, now that I look back on it, I am actually a better teacher, by far, than my CT was. And I'm sure it would surprise the heck out of her.
