Teacher Attrition By biyubelle

Teacher attrition. The new statistics claim that for every three teachers graduating from college, one will quit within the first three years in the profession and another will quit within five. That means for every 3 new teachers, only one will be in the classroom after 5 years.

Scary!! In twenty years where will public education be? Universal public education is the linchpin of a democratic society.(Apologies to private schools. I am not dismissing your contribution, but we are serving the needs of different populations.)
