Great ideas you've all added!

I love that several others are posting their ideas, as well! Thanks, everybody!

kenworthyk, I get a big kick out of making 'candy message' posters similar to the one you described for birthdays,
farewells or other occasions! I use the actual candies so it can get to be quite embarrassing buying all that candy! When I made the signs for the secretaries, I had to make about 6 different signs and I felt so guilty, that I found myself explaining to the cashier that the candies weren't for me! :p What was fun was to see how long the secretaries could each resist eating

the various candies. The first ones to go tended to be the chocolate ones, of course! I can't say that I blame them!! I got more of those same funny looks when I made 5 more candy message posters for teachers who were leaving our school a few years back. :D (You'd think I'd get used to the 'looks' I get! :rolleyes: )

Hey abbylane08! After I finish posting this message, I'm going to go make some 'bottle signs' with your idea! It's perfect timing, because I was going to give my students bottles of water (if they don't already have them) so they wouldn't be such a novelty by the time we start testing. THANKS A LOT for that idea!!

roo, I'm going to be using your idea to "Blow away the test", too! Although the things I've used in the past are new to my current group of students, I'm excited to be using these new ideas I'm finding on this thread!
