When you say DFW, does that mean Dallas/Fort Worth? I can tell you that FW district is HEAVILY recruiting from my area in California, and they are looking for any teachers who were laid off because of our budget crunch. Most of those laid-off teachers are first and second year (and third and fourth year) teachers, so I'd say go to the job fair. They apparently need lots of teachers there.
