I, too, have been a silent observer of your debacle with your ST. I am in awe of your patience and fortitude to continue dealing with this person. I think you should give her the evaluation and a copy to her advisor. How
she reacts to this honest evaluation of her student teaching would be a true indicator as to whether or not she should be in a classroom. At this point I certainly would not want my child in her class. If she does get angry about it what more can she do that she has not done already --- late, not showing up, ill prepared, not taking constructive advice --- what could be worse? She
not show up at all? I think that would be a blessing in disguise and validate what we think; she should not be in a classroom at this stage. If she truly wants to be in the classroom she will take your very wise wisdom and a bit more time student teaching to be a professional in the teaching field; otherwise, I say, good ridance. The children will be better off. That's my 2 cents for what it is worth.
