I love librarians!

I don't look down on librarians at all, and I think the people who do ought to be ashamed of themselves.
Librarians have one of the most important jobs in the school, and that is to make sure that there are plenty of engaging resources for the children to get excited about learning! (Reading, yes, but also learning in all areas.) Classroom teachers can only do so much by themselves.
With the support of librarians, teachers can expose the students to so much more information and life experience. I value my working relationship with our librarian, because I know if I need a certain | |
book, or lots of books on a topic, she will do whatever she can to get what I need, even if she has to travel to another campus!
Libraryrocks, congratulations on your choice, and don't let them get you down! :cool:
