fraction fun By ee

I give my students 2 strips of different kinds of stickers. They have to use at least 5 stickers total and put them on a page and draw a picture. Next they write about their picture and use the fraction to describe the stickers they used. Ex: 4/7 of the insects are butterflies and 3/7 are caterpillars or 3/5 of the stars are yellow and 2/5 are red.
It is a fun way to review parts of a group and make a class book.
