Fractions in the Park
By Teaching2nd

Clip to ScrapBook
My 2nd graders loved this fun fraction activity. You can do it 2 ways--have them draw the picture from a set of directions or have the picture already drawn and have them color according to the directions. I drew a park scene and had them color it in.

Example:

Color 4/5 of the tulips red
Color 1/3 of the ducks in the pond green
Color 1/2 the tree green and the other 1/2 brown

Simple, but they loved it!!! :)

Hope it helps.
