district evaluation form
By readerabbit

Clip to ScrapBook
When I am evaluating my ST I give them them a copy or something like it of the district evaluation form showing not only what I would evaluate in a lesson but the district supervisor would use if she was in the REAL WORLD.
Give it to her and say "Take a look at this and the teaching skills that you will be evaluated on. Tomorrow I will be using this to evaluate your Math lesson or your Lang. Arts lesson. "This is for your benefit so you will have an idea what is expected of you when you get your "own class". More than likely you find it in File 13 but at least you have proof that she was given standards
to follow. That way when you are sizing up things like "attention catcher" etc. it is in a formal manner. Our principal comes in with her own eval to check out the student teachers. Could or would your principal give up 10 minutes to do that? Keep up us posted!!!!!
