Library sales/book clubs/Goodwill
By sonshine

Clip to ScrapBook
I just went to our spring library sale and came away with over 50 books for under $25. The hardback were 50 cents and the paperbacks were only 25 cents. That's a deal hard to beat!

Book clubs have new books, but I have gathered literally 100's of books over the years for very reasonable prices--or even for free. I've also noticed that at seminars they have a lot of books at very reasonable prices.

We have a great used bookstore in Portland--Powells--it's a whole city block. Garage sales are also good. I used to LOVE Goodwill, but they have "upped" the price recently. I think $1 for a used book. That's too much IMHO.

By the way, I would love to get in on the retired teacher's sales!!!!
