Do NOT feel guilty

I usually take a mental health day off once or twice a year, too. I am rarely out sick (in fact, I have gone in on days I probably should have stayed home), so I miss class very infrequently. And I sometimes take the mental health day to catch up on school work, anyway, so I don't really feel bad about it at all. My son is an honor roll student who rarely misses due to sickness, either, but I usually let him take a day or two a year as well, just because he needs it. (He just took Friday off).

Enjoy the day, recharge yourself, and you'll be better prepared for your kids tomorrow.:)
