meet the standards set by that state. (Each state has different requirements for Praxis scores.)

We had to pass Praxis before we could student teach. No one asked about my actual scores because it was just hoop I had to jump through to get my license. (I believe when I received my scores there was a book which listed the requirements for different states. But that was a long time ago so it could be different now.)
