Clip to ScrapBook
I post the kids names in lots of places around the room - door, bulletin boards, cubbies, mailboxes, tables,...so when the kids come in on the first day they'll see their name in many places. During the first week, I take
pictures of the kids and then post their pictures too (cubbies & door.) I leave a few blanks at each place for those last minute changes so I can quickly add new names.

I always play classical music when the children are coming in in the mornings to
help "set the mood." ;)

I did have a nice air freshner a few years ago but one of my little girls had a perfume allergy
& it bothered her so I haven't had an air freshner since. I do like to spray with Lysol dysenfectant (sp?) every once in a while for that clean smell (and to kill little germies.) I haven't had problems with Lysol.

A teacher in 3rd grade at my school has lots of plants in her room and I've always liked that idea. It makes her room feel more inviting.
