I think you have to be really careful on this... A teacher wore what I consider a too short of a skirt... to me and several others... it wasn't in good taste... I think it was a good inch to inch and half about the knee...

I think a good measure is to stand straight with hands to your side and where ever you middle finger ends is the minimum length...
