activity packets
By Jalon

Clip to ScrapBook
We usually have activity packets copied and ready during test time. There are a lot of detailed coloring pages (geometric patterns, etc.) that the students LOVE to color and it seems to keep them relaxes (4th grade). We also include word searches on things we've been studying, and fun puzzle type things (break the code, etc.). They work on these a little while before testing starts. Usually we let them work on them after we're all done with the testing time while we take drink/restroom breaks. They keep them specifically for test days and can't work on them at other times. We also let students have an SSR book to read.
